Netflix’s "Squid Game" season two conquered TV demand in Singapore for the week of 13-19 January, coming in more than 4x ahead of any other shows measured by data science company Parrot Analytics.
Parrot Analytics’ tracking of engagement with "Squid Game" in Singapore is consistent with Netflix’s global data. The series is currently second only to the first season on Netflix’s non-English global TV top 10, with almost 1.3 billion hours viewed since its release on 26 December. "Squid Game" season one remains the top show of all time, with more than 2.2 billion hours viewed. Season three premieres on 27 June 2025.
Demand for digital originals in Singapore is spread around pretty evenly. Netflix takes the top two spots, with the rest split between other global streaming platforms.
