Singapore-based regional channels operator, Rewind Networks, is counting down to the 6 February debut of its new 24-hour regional entertainment channel, Hits Now.
The channel, which adds current U.S. and U.K. premium series to Rewind’s portfolio, is the network’s third after the flagship Hits channel, which celebrates its 10th birthday this year, and Hits Movies, which launched in 2018 and turns five this year.
Hits Now has a broad content profile, ranging from reality and talent shows to premium drama.
Since Hits Now launch announcement in early January, Rewind has added "Chicago P.D." & "Chicago Fire" to its line-up along with reality cooking show "Top Chef", comedy "Young Rock" with Dwayne Johnson, as well as "Lopez Vs Lopez" and reality series "Below Deck".
The channel kicks off on 6 February with the live broadcast of the "65th Annual Grammy Awards" at 8am, with an encore performance at 8pm.
Rewind Networks’ programming head, Sandie Lee, has picked up a slew of new titles not available on other channels in Asia, including Paramount’s new "Fire Country", legal drama "So Help Me Todd" and upcoming police procedural "Alert", along with franchises such as Fremantle’s "American Idol", "Britain’s Got Talent", "America’s Got Talent" and "Project Runway".
The line up also includes long-running entertainment news show, "Entertainment Tonight"; game shows "Celebrity Wheel of Fortune", "Who Wants To Be a Millionaire?" and "Celebrity Family Feud"; and comedies including "The Goldbergs" and "Ghosts".
Hits Now’s new/first-run schedule puts Rewind Networks in play against regional entertainment channels such as KC Global Media’s AXN and Rock Entertainment for the first time.

"Monarch" (2022), police procedural "Alert: Missing Person Unit" (2023), and Paramount’s action drama, "Fire Country" (2022), running back to back.
Hits Now’s first carriage agreement is with Singtel in Singapore.
