Rewind Networks has acquired live rights to the 75th and 76th Primetime Emmy Awards for its Hits Now channel in Asia in 2024, confirming the “best-of” programming promise for the Singapore-based regional services.
The return of the Emmys live to Hits Now on January 16 comes on the eve of the channel’s first anniversary in Asia in February.
The live broadcast will air across Hits Now’s footprint, and exclusively in Singapore, Indonesia, Philippines and Malaysia.
The broadcast of the 76th Primetime Emmy Awards will follow in September 2024.
Rewind Networks, which celebrated its 10th anniversary this month, is also adding Hits Now to Unifi TV in Malaysia on 1 January 2024, bringing the total three-channel footprint to 13 markets and 24 million households in Asia.
