Netflix hosted its first partnership with Taiwan’s Golden Horse Masterclass Program at the weekend in a workshop on colour grading with Kevin Kang, Netflix APAC’s director of production Solutions.

The platform said almost 200 people attended the workshop, “Unlocking Visual Excellence: Harnessing Technology for Enhanced Visual Quality. 

Topics covered included post-production specs for global streaming platforms, along with the fundamentals of colour grading and tips on communicating with colourists. 

The workshop is a part of Netflix’s ongoing training programmes around the world, including the Taicca-backed event in September that looked at among other issues, launch and post-production workflow.
