Myanmar media conglomerate, Forever Group Myanmar, is producing its first adaptations of Banijay Rights’ game-show formats, “Don’t Forget the Lyric Myanmar” and “Tipping Point Myanmar”.
Production on both starts this month.
“Don’t Forget the Lyric Myanmar” will air in Q1 2024 on MRTV4, which the Forever Group jointly operates with the state-owned MRTV.
“Tipping Point Myanmar” is slated to air in Q2/Q3 next year on either MRTV4 or Channel 7, which targets the younger demographic.
Both deals were brokered by Forever Group Myanmar’s general manager channels division, Kaung Zaw.
Forever Group Myanmar’s formats buys in the past include multiple seasons of Banijay Rights’ cooking shows, “MasterChef Myanmar”/“MasterChef Myanmar All Stars”, “The Voice Myanmar” from ITV Studios, and “Family Feud” from Fremantle.
