Mark Francis, Warner Bros Discovery (WBD) former group lead for original production in Southeast Asia/Hong Kong/Taiwan, has joined the Jakarta-based Indonesian streaming service, Vidio.

Francis exited WBD in October after about two years.

Vidio has not yet made the appointment public, although teams on the ground have been told.

Vidio has not had a dedicated content head since chief content officer Tina Arwin decamped after three years to join Amazon Prime Video’s Southeast Asia team in August 2022.
