Global streaming platform Starz has added telco Telkom to its partnerships list, rolling out its Lionsgate Play direct-to-consumer app in Indonesia today a month after its deal with mobile operator Telkomsel was announced.
The app is being offered standalone two subscription models – IDR35.000/US$2.40 a month and IDR179.000/US$12.30 for a year – which Starz described as “attractive… price points that give Indonesian consumers the opportunity to enjoy the best of global entertainment affordably and at their convenience”.
Lionsgate Play content will also be made available through various bundle offerings with Telkomsel and Telkom. Info on the bundles and their pricing was not immediately available.
Lionsgate Play Indonesia’s line-up includes “The Hunger Games” and “Twilight Saga” and “Now You See Me”, along with original television series including “Weeds”, “Power”, “Mad Men” and “The Spanish Princess”.
