Korean legal drama, “Juvenile Justice”, has topped Netflix’s non-English language TV series charts for the second consecutive week.
The 10-part series, which debuted at third place for the week of 21-27 February 2022, attracted 24.94 million hours viewed for the week of 7-13 March 2022.
“Juvenile Justice” also topped the weekly charts for four markets in Asia (Hong Kong, Singapore, South Korea, Taiwan), and was on the top 10 for nine international markets (Bolivia, Martinique, Mexico, Peru, Morocco, Bahrain, Kuwait, Qatar, Saudi Arabia).
In other markets in Asia, the series made the top 10 in Indonesia, Japan, Malaysia, Philippines, Thailand and Vietnam.
Former chart topper, Korean zombie drama series, “All of Us Are Dead”, dropped one more spot to fourth place, with 17.48 million hours viewed, from third for the previous week (24.02 million hours viewed, 28 February-6 March 2022).
“All of Us Are Dead” sat at number one for five consecutive weeks (24 Jan-27 Feb 2022, a total of 575.25 million hours viewed).
For the latest week, Korean programmes continued to dominate, with five of the top 10 titles.
The Korean newcomer for the week is 12-episode romcom, “Business Proposal”, which debuted in sixth place with 15.9 million hours viewed.
“Business Proposal”, starring Ahn Hyo-seop, Kim Se-jeong, Kim Min-kyu and Seol In-ah, premiered on 28 February 2022.
The SBS’ series, directed by Park Sun-ho (“Soosanghan Pateuneo”) and written by Han Sul-hee (“Ugly Young-A”) and Hong Bo-hee (“Standby”), is based on a webtoon by HaeHwa.
The latest chart also features three Colombian titles along with one Spanish and one Turkish series.
Colombian telenovela, “Café con aroma de mujer”, attracted 23.06 million viewing hours, giving it second place behind “Juvenile Justice”.
