Japan’s NHK Enterprises picks up Russia’s “Noble Detective” for AXN Mystery channel
12 October 2021

Japanese mystery channel, AXN Mystery, returns Russian period crime thriller, “Noble Detective”, in 2022 in part two of a deal between NHK Enterprises, the commercial arm of public broadcaster NHK, and Russian broadcaster, NTV.

The first few episodes of the series, about a young noble in Tsarist Russia who joins the police force, aired on AXN Mystery in February this year as something of an experiment to test local appetite for Russian drama.
