Netflix, Prime Video and Disney+ pretty much shared the digital streaming spotlight in Vietnam for the week of 22-28 August, according to data science platform Parrot Analytics, which put Netflix’s "BebeFinn" in top spot at 8.83x more than the demand for an average title in the market.
Streaming demand is split between platforms, with Disney+ taking three titles, Netflix and Prime Video two each. The other three spots went to shows on regional Asian platforms.
Overall, anime is the market’s top genre, and kids shows continue to shine.
Anime titles most in demand for the week were led by "Jujutsu Kaisen", based on a long-running manga about a high-school student who joins a secret organisation of sorcerers to fight a powerful curse.
The top international kids show was "Mr Bean" at 34 on the overall list, followed by "Cocomelon" and "Oggy and the Cockroaches".
