Ferry Pei Irawan and William Chandra are directing the Indonesian version, which stars Afrian Arisandy.
“Bad Guys” is about a team of hard-core criminals pressed into new lives as crime-fighters.
The Indonesian version is the second adaptation in Asia.
A 12-episode Thai version, produced by Thai-Korean join venture, True CJ Creations, premiered on in 2022 on True ID and on Netflix.
Directed by Piyapan “Tom” Choopetch, the series was #1 on both platforms and ultimately spent seven weeks on Netflix’s top 10 in Thailand, at its peak ahead of global blockbusters such as "Little Women", "Dahmer: Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story" and "Narco Saints".
