CJ ENM HK’s new Chinese-language scripted series, “Mom, Don’t Do That”, will premiere in 2022, the Hong Kong-based regional network said at the opening of this year’s ContentAsia Summit.

The 11-episode series – a co-production with Taiwanese production company, Butt Mountain and supported by TAICCA (Taiwan Creative Content Agency) – is currently in post-production.

Filmed entirely in Taiwan, “Mom, Don’t Do that!” is based on a novel by Ming-ming Chen’s mother, who relentlessly surfs the web to find love.

Taiwanese actress Billie Wang stars as Rose. Alyssa Chia and Alice Ko are her two daughters. Kang-ren Wu is the tall, rich and handsome love interest.

The executive producers are Sarso Chou, Weiling Chen and Michael Jung, CJ ENM’s managing director.

CJ ENM HK will handle distribution within Asia (excluding Taiwan and China).
