Malaysian pay-TV platform Astro is counting down to next week’s premiere of new home-grown magazine/reality show, “Jejak Ebit Lew”, which follows independent preacher Ustaz Ebit Lew around the country taking care of less fortunate communities.

The programme launches on Monday (7 Dec), and will air on Astro Prima as well as on Astro’s streaming platform, Astro Go.

The new 61-episode series is an extension of “Door to Door Ebit Lew” on Astro’s in-house Oasis channel. Astro says the new programme’s focus is “the mission of aid and humanity and not just towards the Islamic faith teaching mission of da'wah.... The approach is in line with the current state of society challenges due to the Covid-19 pandemic”.
