Netflix premieres new Aus original, "Territory", on 24 October.
The first trailer released this morning.
Directed by Greg McLean ("La Brea"), "Territory" is about a family torn apart by generational clashes after Marianne Station is left without a clear successor. Sensing this once-great dynasty is in decline, the outback’s most powerful factions — rival cattle barons, desert gangsters, Indigenous elders and billionaire miners — move in for the kill. With billions of dollars at stake, everyone wants a piece of the pie.
Premiering on October 24, "Territory" stars Anna Torv ("The Last of Us"), Michael Dorman ("For All Mankind") and Sam Corlett ("Vikings: Valhalla").
The series is an Easy Tiger and Ronde production for Netflix filmed across the Northern Territory and South Australia with support from Screen Territory and South Australian Film Corporation (SAFC)
"Territory" was created by Timothy Lee ("Mystery Road"), who was also one of the writers, and Ben Davies ("Bondi Rescue").
