The new 15-episode season follows two missionaries on a spiritual exploration across Jordan and Palestine. Kompas TV's pick up follows TransTV's acquisition earlier this year of seasons 12 (30 half-hour episodes dedicated to the Prophet Muhammad) and 13 (30 episodes charting the stories of the first four Caliphs of Islam) and Radio Televion Brunei's acquisition of season 19 (Ramadhan in Saudi Arabia, Jordan, Palestine). The global average connection speed grew to 4.6 Mbps in the second quarter of this year, according to the Q2 2014 State of the Internet (SOTI) report released by Akamai Technologies. Season eight's debut ep on 21 September clocked viewership of 7.6 million. Bigg Boss, the local version of Endemol's Big Brother, is stripped weekdays from 9pm to 10pm with specials on weekends. But neither Bigg Boss nor host Salman Khan could topple market leader Star Plus, which ended the week with 593 million viewers. Long-running soap Diya Aur Baati Hum was #1 with viewership of 8.1 million.
