HITS acquires basic-tier pay-TV rights for the region on an exclusive basis. The successful programming strategy has remained con- sistent from day one: stripped on weekdays for daily viewing and stacked on weekends for binge viewing.

Target audience 

HITS targets a broad demographic group of 25-65 year olds. Some shows such as Knight Rider, Full House, Family Ties and The Nanny are also great for family viewing with young- er children.


HITS is a single channel HD feed. HITS is aired in English, and subtitled offerings in tradition- al Chinese, simplified Chinese, Bahasa Indo- nesia, Bahasa Malaysia, Thai and Burmese.
The key markets HITS is in include Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Vietnam and Myanmar.

Channel distribution in Asia 

HITS is now in over 10 million basic pay-TV homes across Asia. HITS is on Astro and ton- ton in Malaysia, StarHub and Singtel in Sin- gapore, MNC Vision in Indonesia, Cignal and SKYcable in the Philippines, MOD and CNS in Taiwan, nowTV in Hong Kong and Canal+ in Myanmar. HITS continues an ag- gressive roll out into other markets and plat- forms in the region.


HITS Replay is offered as a catch-up on de- mand service for subscribers of the linear HITS channel.
HITS and HITS Replay are available to authenticated subscribers of the linear channel as a TV Everywhere service on authorised devices. The HITS app can also be downloaded from iTunes and Google Play.
The linear HITS service is available for simulcast streaming both on authenticated as well as on standalone OTT services.


A part of HITS’ airtime is available and sold locally by the relevant pay-TV operators. The balance of airtime is used for chan- nel promotions, regional advertising and marketing partnerships.
